Cultural preservation is often harder to measure than something more tangible like economic impact or environmental protection. However, these intangible assets are equally (if not more) important for the overall flourishing of a community. Preserving the culture is therefore one of our core BRI goals (see below)
We believe that documenting the local culture through recording videos, local stories, folk songs and more, is a great start in cultural preservation.
In 2021 we created 4 short documentaries that capture the daily lives of the Red Yao. Once we finish editing these will be shared on our social media, so stay tuned!
