Longsheng has a very special place in my heart. I'm a big traveler and Longsheng is by far the most breath-taking place I've ever visited. There is a zen-like peace there that I have never found anywhere else. Being fully immersed in nature & the community of the Red Yao is such a unique and unmatched experience. It's a trip & memory that will last me forever.
This was truly was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. It was an incredibly immersive experience into Chinese culture, one that I feel that many people never get to experience. Such a beautiful place in the world, every view of the landscape was absolutely breath taking. The trip was incredibly well planned. If you're interested in joining a trip, you have two options:
A. Book Direct – Click the 'BOOK DIRECT' button on the website if you're already certain you want to join. After submitting the form, we'll send you payment instructions. Once we receive your $500 deposit, your spot is officially secured. The remaining balance is due 60 days before departure.
B. Sign up – If you're still deciding, click the 'SIGN UP' button instead. We'll send you more information about the trip and tentatively hold your spot for two weeks. This gives you time to review the itinerary, ask questions, or attend one of our Q&A sessions. Once you're ready to commit, simply pay the deposit to confirm your place.
We offer set group departure dates for the Viori Longsheng Experience. Each group is limited to a maximum of 10 participants to ensure a personalized and immersive journey.
Prefer to travel solo or with your own private group? Just select the Private Tour option on the form. Our team will contact you directly to discuss alternative dates and customize your experience. If needed, we may be able to suggest flexible options to better fit your travel plans.
The $3,800 covers all accommodation, meals, local transportation within China, guided activities, cultural experiences, and support from the Viori travel team. An experienced English-Chinese bilingual guide will also accompany the group from start to finish, ensuring smooth communication and a deeper cultural connection throughout the journey.
The price does not include international airfare, visa fees for traveling to China, personal expenses, or travel insurance.

If you cancel more than 60 days in advance, you’ll receive a full refund minus the deposit. Cancellations made 30–60 days in advance receive a 50% refund; cancellations within 30 days of departure are non-refundable.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any unexpected changes. A signed waiver is also required before departure. Full terms and conditions will be provided upon booking.
Here’s a sample 9-day itinerary to give you a sense of the journey:
- Day 1: International flight to Hong Kong
- Day 2: Rest and explore Hong Kong
- Day 3: Travel to Guilin (Yangshuo) and transfer to a countryside guesthouse along the Li River
- Day 4: Immerse yourself in rural life and the karst landscape of Yangshuo
- Day 5: Travel to Longsheng and meet the Red Yao community
- Day 6: Participate in local activities and enjoy time to relax in Longsheng
- Day 7: Explore nearby villages and take part in more cultural experiences
- Day 8: Farewell gathering in Longsheng, then travel back to Hong Kong
- Day 9: International flight home
The schedule includes nature, culture, and village immersion. Some details may shift based on local conditions or group preferences, but this gives a close picture of how your trip will unfold.
