I think the packaging is so beautiful even once you simply twist it open! It has a nice natural creamy smell and the design on the top of the soap itself is intricate and pretty. It also lathers nicely.

In MY ENTIRE LIFE I have NEVER been able to just use ONE shampoo. I would use one for a few days, then have to switch to another for a few days, then use a clarifying one once a week, then a scalp/dandruff one a couple times a month. My Shower was always FULL of like 7 different bottles of different shampoos. So when I saw the was a scentless option, I rushed to try this bar. Wow, just wow. I didn't have high hopes having tried other “natural” shampoo bars and only gotten dried out tangled hair for it. But my goodness, this shampoo is fantastic! I have extremely thick, oily hair and dandruff. For years I have tried different “natural” and sulfate -free shampoos that just left my hair feeling dry and straw-like. For years I have had a love-hate relationship with my hair, keep in mind that I consider it to also be one of my best physical assets as well, and I have tried many different shampoos and conditioners and had many headaches and neck pains because of it too. I went from washing my hair during every shower to washing my hair once to twice a week, only combing my hair in the shower while I condition it with my fingers to only using big tooth combs, and constantly trying different routines to tame my mane. I came across a Facebook ad on Viori Beauty Shampoo & Conditioner bars and the pictures of the Red Yao Tribe women are what encouraged me to click on the link. This was back in October 2021. I was excited to try it. Let. Me. Tell. You. After my first hair wash, my hair felt so soft and light. Still, a skeptic, I didn't want to be too excited it was only the first use. After my third wash, I noticed that I wasn't losing as much hair in the shower while I was combing it out. Before this, I used to have hair wrapped around my hands, I could feel strands of hair on my body, and see them on the shower walls, and on the floor of the shower. So much that I had to rinse everything and my body multiple times till I didn't feel the hair on me or see it anywhere around the shower. One would think I was going bald. Anyway, with that, imagine my surprise when I realized just after the third wash that I wasn't wrapped up in my own hair at the end of washing it or running my fingers through my mane in the shower or combing it out. It was then that I really started to pay better attention to my hair. I noticed how much lighter it was after it dried. I almost only ever air dry my hair. My hair felt so much lighter that I was beginning to be afraid that I was losing hair. Hahahaha. I was so scared that I had decided I was going to stop using the shampoo & conditioner bars and complained that my hair was falling out and then my older daughters said, "No, you're not. You still have a lot of hair. It's just softer now." A few days later after being more aware of my hair I realized she was right. My hair was still as full as ever and it no longer felt or looked dry and crunchy. Fast forward to today, April 8, 2022, my hair has been so much healthier, softer, fuller than it has ever been and that's saying a lot for my Polynesian hair, my mane lost its crunchy and dry feel and look as well. And, I swear my "wisdom" hairs have either gained color again or have been growing out with my natural hair color pushing the "wisdom" color out. I use the Native Essence Unscented Shampoo and Conditioner bars. Forgive me for my essay long review but I needed to share how much Viori Beauty shampoo and conditioner bars have changed the game with my hair. The Red Yao Tribe women really did find the best remedy for their hair and I'm thankful as all get out that they have shared it with the rest of us. Best shampoo ever!
I was very skeptical that bar hair products would work on my fussy, frizzy wavy/curly hair, but so far they have been amazing!
I hadn’t seen any reviews with someone that has a tighter dryer curl pattern so I decided to do one. I have naturally curly high porosity hair. I had been wanting to try Viori for a while. I finally bought on a whim to see if it could help retain moisture and create shine as my hair has not been retaining moisture as well between wash days and my scalp has been excessively dry. I chose the unscented bc it stated it’s good for dry to normal hair and I didn’t want to strip my hairs natural oils. I made sure to maintain my same hair care routine outside of using Viori shampoo and conditioner to make sure any changes were because of these products. I must say I am impressed and totally in love! I noticed an immediate difference after using the shampoo possibly because of the Shea and Cocoa butter. I noticed the conditioner residue seemed harder to wash out and does not have enough slip to be used to detangle, but it did help close my hair follicle which has created a great amount of shine. I will also note my pre-wash deep conditioner was Lush hot oil treatment which could have also helped. You will need to use a cleansing shampoo every few washes bc of the butters, But overall I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend.

I was hesitant to try out this product just because I had never used a shampoo bar, but honestly after only about a month, I see the difference in the health of my hair. I have struggled with a dry flakey scalp for a while, but thankfully no longer do because of the unscented shampoo bar, which I chose because I try to use products that are all fragrance free. Give it a shot, the bar goes a long way also and is a very good price for the results you are going to see.
