1. Wet your hair and scalp thoroughly — even a trickle from a backcountry spigot or camp shower works.
2. Rub the bar directly between your palms or across your scalp for 5–10 seconds to build a trail-ready lather.
3. Work the lather into your scalp with your fingertips using short, firm circles — focus on areas under your hat line where sweat and oil accumulate most.
4. Let the lather sit for 30–60 seconds if your scalp itch is running high; the tea tree and peppermint need a moment of contact to do their job.
5. Rinse thoroughly until water runs clear — full rinse is especially important in hard water to prevent any mineral buildup.
6. Shake off excess water, let the bar dry before stowing it, and pack it out — no bottle, no waste.
