Hidden Waterfall is made with fermented Longsheng rice water from the Red Yao villages of southern China, where rice water has been the primary hair wash for centuries. This bar puts that practice into a format that fits a shower shelf.

1. Wet your hair fully from scalp to ends — the more saturated your hair, the more evenly the bar will lather across long lengths.
2. Hold the bar in both hands and rub it directly between your palms until a rich lather builds, or work it in slow strokes from root to mid-length along sections of wet hair.
3. Massage the lather into your scalp first using your fingertips — not your nails — then work it down through your lengths with gentle, downward strokes to avoid tangling.
4. Rinse thoroughly with warm water until the water runs completely clear; this step matters most for long hair, where residue tends to collect at the mid-length and ends.
5. Follow with your conditioner or treatment on mid-lengths and ends as needed. Allow 2–3 washes for your hair to clear any residue from previous products before expecting the full result.
6. After use, rest the bar on a dry surface away from direct water flow — a draining soap dish extends the life of the bar significantly.
