Shampoo and conditioner are great and perfect for traveling. Just wish the bars towards the end (but still with a lot left) would not break apart into small pieces, which make it hard to use so you throw away product unnecessarily.

This bar is deliberately fast. A couple of passes down the mid-lengths and ends, a quick comb through, rinse — no three-minute wait, no slick feeling afterwards. It strengthens rather than just softening: Longsheng rice water delivers inositol and fermentation amino acids into the fibre, hydrolyzed rice protein reinforces the compromised parts of the strand, and single malt Scotch adds polyphenols and amino acids from oak ageing. There is no silicone, so nothing accumulates over the week and nothing kills the grip you style with. Hair dries with texture and body. If you have never used a conditioner bar, start at the ends only and adjust up from there.
Most rice water proteins are too large to enter the hair shaft — at 13,000–30,000 Daltons they sit on the surface and rinse away. Hydrolyzed Rice Protein is broken down to peptides below ~1,000 Daltons, small enough to reach the cortex, where research indicates they deposit preferentially on compromised areas, improving tensile strength and reducing breakage under combing stress. The result is a strand that bends without snapping — not a coating, but internal reinforcement.
Resilience That Stays After Rinsing
Inositol, a carbohydrate abundant in fermented rice water, is the reason the effect does not wash out. Studies of rice-water treatment report that inositol remains inside the fiber after rinsing, continuing to reduce friction and protect the strand between washes rather than acting only while the product is on the hair.
Why There Is Whisky In It
Single malt Scotch picks up polyphenols and ellagic acid from the oak it ages in — the same class of antioxidant compounds studied for their ability to limit oxidative damage to the hair fibre from UV and pollution.
