1. Wet hair thoroughly with warm water.

I believe this charred patchouli is my favorite so far!!! I’ve tried the hidden waterfall and sandalwood. But this one I LOVE LOVE LOVE! This is my hair today right after getting out of the shower. I originally bought this for my to try and he liked ok. My son ended up with it and he says it’s great for his hair. Left it soft(he has long hair). Could use the conditioner though. So I’ll have to purchase that next. The scent is not over powering either.

Love this smell and works just as well as the other bars I’ve bought. However, may I suggest a girly version of patchouli - with a plum or berry vs the bourbon. I always recommend this brand for shampoo/conditioner.

I got samples at their booth. Wanted to get full size after using it. It foaming really good and rinse really well. No sliminess or rinse forever. I have a lot of hair, so I like it if rinse well. Wish it has little stronger smell because smell so good! After dry my hair, stay smooth and hold my hair feel clean longer. Only used for few times but I like it so far.
I am currently growing my hair out after losing it all from chemotherapy. Since I only have about 3 in to work with you'll have to wait for a little bit to get a fuller review. Let me just say it smells lovely. I do find it funny that my favorite scents, the Julie and sandalwood, are in the men's department, as it were.

Longsheng rice water carries inositol and fermentation amino acids into the strand, and hydrolyzed rice protein — broken down small enough to reach the cortex — reinforces the fibre from inside rather than sitting on it. Single malt Scotch contributes polyphenols and ellagic acid from oak ageing. The cleansing base is Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, a mild coconut-derived surfactant, so it clears sweat, sebum and product without the delipidation a sulfate causes. No parabens, no synthetic fragrance, no silicone. It works on every hair type and every scalp type, which is the point — it is a good wash rather than a specialist one. Hair dries with its own texture and body, and holds a style without product propping it up.

WHY IT WORKS
- Protein That Gets Inside
Most rice water proteins are too large to enter the hair shaft — at 13,000–30,000 Daltons they sit on the surface and rinse away. Hydrolyzed Rice Protein is broken down to peptides below ~1,000 Daltons, small enough to reach the cortex, where research indicates they deposit preferentially on compromised areas, improving tensile strength and reducing breakage under combing stress. The result is a strand that bends without snapping — not a coating, but internal reinforcement.
- Why There Is Whisky In It
Single malt Scotch picks up polyphenols and ellagic acid from the oak it ages in — the same class of antioxidant compounds studied for their ability to limit oxidative damage to the hair fibre from UV and pollution. It also contributes amino acids from the malted barley. It is a real functional ingredient at the level it is used, not a marketing story, though it is one input among several rather than the thing doing all the work.

Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate is a mild, coconut-derived cleanser that lifts sebum and product residue without the aggressive delipidation associated with sulfate surfactants. The formula is built for how most men wash — daily or near-daily, fast, often with hard water — and the scent is the main difference beyond that. Hair is hair. Plenty of women buy these bars for the scent, and nothing about the formula makes that a bad idea.
