We’re happy to share another positive development from our Viori BRI Tea Program—our latest purchase of Longsheng Wild Black Tea, made directly from the farmers' cooperative we’ve been partnering with over the past few years.
This tea is something truly special. Grown wild in the pristine mountains of Longsheng, the black tea is not only rich in flavor and history, but also represents the remarkable progress of the local farmers in crafting, processing, and branding their own finished teas. Before the BRI program, these farmers often sold raw tea leaves at very low prices to middlemen. Now, they are producing finished teas with pride, skill, and a story.

Thanks to training by traditional tea masters and support with packaging and branding, the farmers’ co-op is finally seeing the fruits of their labor pay off. And with this recent Viori order, their tea will now be shared more broadly—with our customers, spa professionals, and natural lifestyle enthusiasts.
We’ve tasted it ourselves and we’re genuinely impressed. Smooth, earthy, and full of character, this wild black tea carries the spirit of the Longsheng mountains in every sip.

If you’ve had a chance to try it, we’d love to hear your thoughts. Please feel free to share your experience or feedback with us at sustainability@viori.com.
Thank you for supporting the journey from mountain to teacup—and for helping us empower smallholder farmers.
